This Morning Kenadee said she wanted to do the Ear Piercing this weekend. Before she goes back to school next week so she can surprise everyone. She said she is going to be Brave & she is "So Ready."
Kenny was fine with it; so I came to terms with the fact that she was getting older & that this was the day.
So today is Early Out Day & We (me & the twins) were all ready to get in the car when Kenadee got home from School. I surprised her & told that we could go to the mall right now if she was sure. She got Very Excited!
I even called ahead to make sure there would be 2 piercing girls available so we didn't have to deal with the one lobe a time ordeal.
I wanted to tell her exactly what would happen, so she wouldn't be scared.
I told her about each step (cleaning, marking the spot, picking out earrings, the tool they use, & that it would only hurt for a second) Well I guess it all became too real......because she got Super Nervous & said,
" I think I'll wait till I'm like 8 or 9."
Chicken!
No Pressure. But for how against it I had become, I was a little bummed that she didn't want to. I said she could think about it but she keeps reassuring me that she will wait till she is older. How Funny!
She has been wearing Sticker Earrings ever since! Good Choice.

haha, i laugh because i did that exact same thing a dozen times before i finally got brave enough to go through with it :) Then that was enough for me- not such a high pain tolerance if that hurt
