Yesterday my Mom took the day off, which was quite a treat and as soon as Kenadee was on the Bus, we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
We ordered our delicious meal (try the pecan pancakes- oh baby!), colored with the twins & ate our yumminess.
Towards the end of our meal, our waitress came & told us that one of her other tables had Paid Our Bill.
The nice folks had already paid & left so we didn't get to see them or say Thank You!
Someone had paid their bill last time they were there & so they just wanted to return the favor, or Pay It Forward.
I guess the Man was in his "Army Guy Clothes", as Will calls them, when he had his bill paid, which is probably why someone did the nice gesture.
How awesome is that? And how nice that he just decided to keep it going?
We were touched & decided that we will just have to come back & return the favor to someone else.
Who knew people did such things now days??
It really made our day. So, with all that money we saved at breakfast, it wasn't too hard to make some really cute purchases at Tai Pan.

Good story! I love when people do nice things. It reminds me to be nicer too. Thanks for sharing.
That really is awesome! My friend is a mother of 6 and was recently approached at the grocery store by a woman who gave her a bouquet of flowers and said "I can tell you're a great mom and wanted to thank you for all you do." I love stories like this!
I LOVE hearing things like that! It really does make you feel good to know there are still GREAT people around!
That is awesome. It is nice to know there are still nice people in the world.
Love it. Please pay it forward. Then report.
That is so sweet! It is nice to hear these kinds of stories. I am glad it happened to you :-) BTW...I can't believe you started X-Mas shopping!! I need to be more like you and not procrastinate!!
What a great experience! It's nice to see that people still care!
that is so nice, someone did that for me and Justin at Olive Garden a few years back. It is such a nice surprise, definately pay it forward in the future!
That is awesome! Beau and I have actually done that for missionaries and actually a waiter whose customers skipped out on their bill so he was the one who would be responsible for it.
So we paid it, and man it feels way better to give than to recieve for sure!
So sweet! I wish I were thoughtful and did things like that. Because of you and this story I will have to vow to at least try to become better. Good to know other people are already doing such a good job!
People still do that? That was so nice.
I LOVE Tai Pan - what did you end up getting??
