Pre Halloween Craziness

Wednesday was our ward Halloween Carnival. It's fun every year because it's a good chance to try the costumes out & the kids have so much fun playing all the games. So, here are the kids in their costumes:

They picked what they were going to be this year, & actually all went with a Pirates of Caribbean Theme. Kenadee is "Elizabeth Swan". Will is "Capt. Jack Sparrow". Whit is just a "Cute Girl Pirate". (We wanted her to be "Calypso", but she didn't want to be Ugly). Obviously; not all from the same sequel.
Our Ward gets pretty into dressing up & it's encouraged even for the adults. We have never dressed up.

Ken's Young Men were in charge of the Fish Pond game so Kenny decided to dress up this year in a costume he wore 2 years ago to the Palmer's annual Halloween Party. I was going to wear my costume for this year, but after I got everyone else ready, I didn't have time to put all of mine on. So at the last minute I came up with a quick idea that threw everyone at the party off. It was really funny to see every one's reactions. At least 6 people asked my in laws if I was really expecting. "Heck No! This is my costume!"

The Young Men really got a kick out Ken's eyeliner & real Mohawk.

This week has also been Red Ribbon Week (don't do Drugs!!) & with that a crazy theme for each day. Crazy socks, sports day, wear red etc. Well Friday was crazy Hair day. We love this day & really look forward to it. I have to admit...it's fun for me too!
Here are some pics of the kids on Crazy Hair day.

HA HA HA! That's been my idea for a costume this year - at least none of my friends are invited to read your blog so they still won't know. Too funny.

(And no, no new babies here either.)

Oh and your hubbys costume, especially for a church ward party! HE HE One of my brother-in-laws grew out his hair and right before halloween he shaved/buzzed the sides and made himself a real mohawk for halloween! I just love halloween! Sadly everyone seems to forget my birthday is the very next day though. :(
I still LOVE halloween!

Oh my heck- these pic's are great! 2 questions though: 1)How did you do that to Ken's arms?
2) Does he really road bike, or did you just borrow that for a costume last year?

Loved it, loved it loved it.
